Create a Successful Event – Case Study: Long Island Restaurant Week

The first Long Island Restaurant Week was in 2006 – BEFORE Facebook and Twitter. However, today these tools are being utilized to help raise awareness for the event. Do you have an event, but don’t know how to utilize social media to help make it a success? If you answered yes, then this session is for you!

In the spirit of the un-conference style, we will start with a short introduction on what worked for Long Island Restaurant Week. The rest of the session will be spent in a discussion-style format where presenters will open up the floor a bit and field Q&A. Comparisons will also be drawn to help show the audience how these tools can be utilized for ANY event.
